• We use yeast for a lot of things but , mostly we use yeast for bake goods and alcoholic beverages.

• Yes , there is yeast the cheese.

• Yes , yeast is mostly used in beer and wine.

• Using yeast in foods goes all the way back to the ancient Egyptians when they used yeast for making bread.

• Grape juice , wine , beer , sour dough , bread , cider , cakes , etc. all contain yeast cells.
